Robert Rogers

Board Chair

Robert Rogers serves as District Coordinator for Contra Costa County District 1 Supervisor John Gioia. Rogers oversees county projects and services in North Richmond, and develops and implements external communications strategies for the County Supervisor. He is a former newspaper reporter at the East Bay Times, San Bernardino County Sun, and the Ford Foundation. Rogers holds B.A. degrees from California State University, Fullerton, a certificate from Georgetown University’s TFAS program, a mini-MBA from the University at Buffalo School of Management, and an M.A. in journalism from UC Berkeley, where he served as a lecturer at the Graduate School of Journalism. Rogers and his family live in Richmond.
