This year, Richmond Main Street made significant strides, tackling some of the most challenging and rewarding projects ever. Downtown Richmond is undergoing the development of long-standing vacant spaces that will bring new businesses, visitors, and economic vitality to the district. If you haven’t visited, make sure to add downtown Richmond to your list of places to see in 2019.
We broke ground on the new BART Retail Hub this past summer and look forward to its grand opening in early 2019. The BART Retail Hub will be home to CoBiz, a new co-working business incubator, and a food hall featuring Red Bay Coffee. Located at 15th Street & Macdonald Avenue these businesses are the talk of the town. You’ve been asking and we’ve heard you loud and clear: we need more retail downtown.
We are pleased with the progress of this development and look forward to an even more transformational housing development project at 12th & Macdonald scheduled to break ground sometime late 2019. Richmond Main Street is at the center of it all. We are the glue that makes it stick.
