We’re starting this week motivated by an inspiring book reading event hosted by the Richmond Food Hall yesterday. It was a packed house to hear Betty Reid Soskin—civil rights activist, union organizer, musician, entrepreneur, and Downtown Champion—read from her memoir, Sign My Name to Freedom. Attendees of all ages lined up to purchase copies and by the end of the afternoon they had all been sold.
