Help us make magic and create a winter wonderland for Richmond families at the annual Downtown Holiday Festival!
Volunteers Needed:
- Tuesday, December 17, 9am–12pm: Deck the Halls! Hang garlands and lights, put up festive bows, create Santa’s station, get the Christmas tree ready for the big day, and make gift bags.
- Wednesday, December 18, 3:30pm–6:30pm and/or 6pm–9pm: Assist with Santa visits, distribute giveaways (gift bags & books), help make announcements (English/Spanish speaker needed) run multicultural make & take activities, greet guests, help maintain cleanliness and order of festival space, clean-up, and other tasks as needed.
Location: East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, 339 11th Street
Attire: Red shirt/top, jeans, comfy shoes. Santa hat, holiday sweater, other family-friendly festive attire/accessories welcome!
Youth & groups welcome! Community service hours honored.
