Alicia Gallo

Interim Executive Director

Alicia Gallo joined the Richmond Main Street team as a Bay Area LISC AmeriCorps Vista Member in June 2010. She has served RMSI in many capacities, always bringing her passion for building genuine relationships, creating organizational systems, and preserving cultural heritage. Some of her accomplishments include reviving the Neighborhood Ambassador Program, building strong partnerships with stakeholders and supporters, establishing the Downtown Richmond PBID, growing the organization’s community events into signature activities, and managing the Art In Windows, small business assistance, and youth development programs. 

Alicia serves as a staff liaison for the Board of Directors and Economic Development Committee. She is also a member of the California Main Street Alliance board of directors. She previously served as co-chair of the Healthy Richmond Economic Justice Action Team (2018-2020). She is an avid cyclist, crafter, and collector of succulents. Alicia also volunteers as an expert weed puller at Happy Lot Farm and Garden, Family Camp helper for YES Nature to Neighborhoods, Richmond Promise Mentorship program, and writing coach with WriterCoach Connection. Alicia is a graduate of Mills College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and double minor in Spanish and Spanish American Studies and Studio Art., (510) 236-4049
