Zumba Classes
Richmond Main Street is dedicated to revitalizing downtown Richmond…and we know that creating access to healthy foods and exercise activities is an important component to improving our business district and the community. Richmond Main Street continues to promote health and wellness downtown as a collaborative partner West County Healthy Eating Active Living Collaborative (HEAL) initiative.
In March 2012, we launched free bi-weekly Zumba classes through funding from HEAL…and they were a huge success! We are excited to once again offer these high-energy fitness classes in downtown with Zumba instructor extraordinaire, Willa ‘Bontle’ Willis, free of cost to all participants. We’ve also secured a new location in Downtown that will allow a flexible class schedule and class size! No need to reserve a spot–just show up and get fit moving to those fun beats!

What is Zumba?
Zumba is a fun, high-energy fitness program that blends red-hot international music with Latin-inspired dance steps. And we’re bringing it to downtown Richmond free of charge! All Main Street Zumba classes are taught by certified Zumba instructor Willa “Bontle” Willis, who is an expert at leading Zumba sessions full of exotic rhythms set to energizing Latin beats. Participants are sure to leave feeling fit and invigorated!
Why free Zumba in Downtown Richmond?

The Downtown Richmond Zumba Fitness classes are made possible by support from HEAL and Richmond Main Street’s commitment to revitalizing Downtown Richmond by creating access to healthy foods and exercise activities.
