The Richmond Main Street Farmers Market
is a Hit!  

More than 600 residents, employees, and visitors attended the Grand Opening last week and reveled in the bounty that the farmers had to offer:

If you missed it last Wednesday, no need to fret–the market will return Wednesday, July 11 with more succulent fruit, fresh vegetables, gourmet foods, local honey, fresh cut flowers, baked goods, and other specialty offerings for you to enjoy.

The Richmond Main Street Farmers Market will take place every Wednesday from 10am-2pm in the lovely Nevin Plaza on 13th Street and Nevin Avenue, through October 31.

More than 300 of us jumped, bumped and kicked up our heels last Wednesday to music by some of our old and new favorite performers at this summer’s first Music on the Main concert.  Jesse James did not disappoint: dressed in his signature black suit, Jesse excited the crowd by delivering his legendary soulful blues and singing his greatest hits.  Reed Fromer and his band got the crowd dancing and RPAL’s The Originalz wowed us all by performing some of pop music’s latest hits.

We’ll keep this celebration of downtown going with another Music on the Main concert on July 25, from 5-7:30pm, featuring more blues, gospel and pop music by:

Plus: food by CJs BBQ & Fish and Quiche & Carry, activities for kids, amazing drawing prizes, unique shopping opportunities, and more!
