Come Downtown for Summertime Fun (5.30.2012)
Come Downtown for Summertime Fun!
Summertime is here! And we’ve put together an excellent line-up of healthy, educational, family friendly, and most of all fun events to help Celebrate Downtown this summer. And you’re invited!
Healthy Village Every 1st Friday
Join us this Friday, June 1st in the Community Green Space Park from 12-2pm for our second Healthy Village Farm Stand of the summer. We kicked off our celebration of downtown on May 4 with our community friends and partners with the first Healthy Village event of the season. Well over 100 community members joined us in the Community Green Space Park for an afternoon filled with sunshine and all that Healthy Village had to offer: fresh fruits and vegetables from EcoVillage Farm, delicious and nutritious snacks and recipes courtesy of Liberty Ship Café, community resources, and pony rides for the children.
