Richmond Main Street Initiative is dedicated to strengthening Downtown Richmond’s economic base through business retention, targeted recruitment, social entrepreneurship and financing, trend monitoring and education, and new development.

We strive to realize this goal through a number of collaborative programs, such as “Start and Grow Smart” and Summer Youth Entrepreneur Program, that provide business training to youth and adult entrepreneurs. We also work with local businesses and entrepreneurs to promote downtown as a shopping destination with something for everyone.
